Melanie and Paul. Blackcomb Engagement
When I met with Melanie and she said that her and Paul wanted to do a helicopter engagement shoot, I was so excited. Ever since my first flight and shoot with Compass Heli Tours in 2017 I have been hooked! This time we went with Blackcomb Helicopters and it was especially exciting because Adam (my husband) came as well and did video.
I loved that this was both Melanie and Paul's first time in a helicopter. It was so cool to experience it with them. You could just see the awe and excitement in both of their faces!
We flew to the top of the mountain and it was definitely chilly. I was bundled up in layers of clothes, a winter jacket and boots, but Melanie was a trooper and braved the freezing cold weather in just a dress!
I can't wait to shoot this lovely couple's Squamish wedding next summer!!
On a side note, Adam has always been interested in videography and I have been telling him for YEARS that he should buy the gear and start working with me. He finally listened and took it up this past July. He has only made a few videos but every single one of them is amazing. Check out his work below!!
