Family

When Jamie contacted me to do family photos I was ecstatic. I used to work with her years ago at a restaurant in Mission. We havent kept in close contact but I have seen her little girl, Ava, on Facebook and she is absolutely ADORABLE!! I had always wanted to photograph her. I was even more excited when she said she wanted to do the session in Vancouver. I love urban, city shoots but dont do them too often.

Ava was just as cute in person as I thought she would be! It took a little while for her to warm up to me. It wasnt until about halfway through the session that I even got a single smile. Apparently she is usually miss serious so Jamie said that photos of her not smiling are actually more her.

I love the way these images turned out. Hopefully I get to photograph Little Ava again in the future!
