Wedluxe Styled Shoot
One of my business goals for this year was to get published on Wedluxe.com, an amazing wedding blog. In late December I teamed up with Maria from Niche Events Stylists in planning an elegant, Tuscan inspired styled shoot at a private residence in Abbotsfrod, BC. Our goal: Wedluxe publication. On the day of the shoot, it was a gloomy, rainy January day but we pushed through! The team of people that contributed to this shoot really put forth their best effort and you could tell. Maria put so much thought and time into the elaborate, marsala coloured, italian table scapes, floral arrangements, bouquet, and boutineeres. Chelsea, from Flawless Appeal, did some of her best work on hair and makeup for our two looks for our model, Christina. Michelle from Ivory Bridal kindly lent us the two beautiful gowns. The sparkling jewellery came from the wonderful girls from Jewliette Jewellery. Annie from Cake by Annie made not one, but three, cakes with the most elegant, handmade sugar flowers. Coastal Olive Oils provided us with the unique, Italian inspired favours. The signage, including menus, invitations, placecards, seating chart, and favour tags, were made by hand by Tammy from Uniquity Invitations. The in style, gold chivallari were borrowed from Universal Décor. It all came together beautifully! Once I was done with editing, I eagerly sent the files to Wedluxe, fingers crossed. It was almost two weeks before I heard back. I was so nervous when opening the email from one of the editors. I cannot tell you the excitement I felt when I read the words, that they would love to publish our "STUNNING" photos!! It is such an honour to be featured on their site. I am so glad I can finally share it with you all, as well as finally share the images from the shoot!!
