Erik and Jamie
I knew Jamie as a child but hadn't seen her in years. In 2013 I shot a wedding where Erik was apart of the wedding party. He was definitely the class clown at the wedding. I was excited when Jamie contacted me to shoot her and Erik's wedding. I knew it would be a beautiful, and super fun wedding!
This wedding party was probably the goofiest and happiest wedding party I had ever worked with. They had me laughing throughout most of my time with them.
I love that they had so much fun with the photos and didn't take themselves too seriously. At one point Jamie and Erik even asked if we could do some goofy photos with just the two of them. Hence the photo of Jamie on Erik's shoulders!!! How amazingly hilarious did that turn out?!?
The wedding was located in dewdney, a small farm community just outside of mission, at Jamie's grandparents house. And what a perfect location it was. Corn fields, hay bales, and a gorgeous setting sun made for a perfect summer wedding!
