Maternity sessions are one of my favourite sessions to do! Before becoming a photographer, I had taken doula courses, attended births, and even looked into becoming a midwife. It ended up not being something I was able to pursue because of family and the high demands of a job such as that. I am so thankful that I get to still be involved with pregnant women. I think it is the most beautiful time in a woman's life. I love when family's want to capture that time through photographs. Soon to be big sister, Anika, is still pretty young and doesn't fully understand what is coming, but she was super excited to talk about baby and rub mom's growing tummy. I love the location we chose for this session. So beautiful with the trees, water, and rocks, and I loved that Nicole was more than willing to get in the water!
